I would like to suggest an improvement to the Teacher Pay feature in Teach ’n Go. It would be very useful if we could import teacher payment records using an Excel or CSV file, or alternatively, manually enter payment amounts for each teacher. For example, I would like to be able to: Upload an Excel file containing teacher names, payment dates, amounts paid, and payment descriptions. Automatically match imported payments to the corresponding teachers. Manually record payments for individual teachers, even when the amount is not calculated automatically by Teach ’n Go. View each teacher's payment history, including total amounts paid and any outstanding balances. Record partial payments, advances, bonuses, or other adjustments. In our institute, teachers have different payment arrangements. Some are paid hourly, others receive a fixed monthly salary, and some are paid based on a percentage of the tuition fees actually collected. Therefore, having the flexibility to record actual teacher payments independently of the automatic payroll calculations would be extremely helpful. Ideally, all these payments would appear in the Teacher Pay section, allowing us to maintain a complete and accurate payment history for each teacher. I believe this feature would be valuable for many schools that use different teacher payment structures. Is something like this already possible, or could it be considered for a future update? Self explanatory, when importing photos for 450+ students and staff one by one is just not going to happen!

Dear Teach ’n Go Team, I would like to request an improvement to the Category field in Expense Details. Could you add a dropdown menu for selecting an expense category, followed by a second dropdown showing the subcategories belonging to the selected category? I would also like to be able to add, edit, and manage our own categories and subcategories to suit our institute’s needs. For example: Utilities: Electricity, Water, Telephone & Internet Educational Materials: Books, Printing & Stationery Staff Costs: Salaries, Employer Contributions This would make recording and organising our expenses much easier and more consistent.

I’d like to suggest a new feature for TeachnGo: an automated class cancellation and rescheduling workflow. From an administrative perspective, one of the most time-consuming and frustrating tasks is managing class changes. The back-and-forth communication between parents, instructors, and administrators to confirm cancellations or arrange alternative times takes up a significant amount of time, especially when multiple classes need to be adjusted. My suggestion is to build a self-service cancellation and rescheduling system directly into TeachnGo. Here’s how I envision it working: Customizable cancellation policies: The school can configure its own cancellation rules, such as requiring at least 24 hours’ notice for a cancellation or rescheduling request to avoid charges. Requests submitted outside the permitted window would follow the school’s existing cancellation policy.Student/parent self-service: Parents or students can log into TeachnGo, select an upcoming class, and choose whether they want to cancel or reschedule it, without having to contact the administration separately.Approval workflow: The request is sent directly to the instructor or administrator for approval. For rescheduling, the requester could suggest an alternative time, and the instructor or administrator could approve or propose another available slot. Automatic notifications and schedule updates: Once a request is approved, TeachnGo automatically notifies the relevant parties and updates the class schedule. The system should also retain a record of the request, approval, and any applicable charges or credits. Policy-based automation: Ideally, requests that meet the school's predefined rules could be processed automatically where appropriate, while exceptions would be routed for manual approval. The main goal is to reduce administrative workload and keep the entire process within TeachnGo, rather than relying on separate communication platforms to coordinate every class change. I believe this would be a valuable feature for tutoring institutions like ours, where schedules frequently change and each adjustment can involve several rounds of communication. It would make TeachnGo more efficient for administrators, more convenient for parents, and easier for instructors to manage their schedules.

SMS communication is expensive for the students and dated, while WhatsApp is free. Students can authorized channel.

We need to generate a report for each student each Trimester. At the moment we create a word document for each each student showing information for each trimester and then each teacher has to type their comments and results for each student. I would like the option to include a customisable report template for each student that could be updated in the student file

The ability to build a custom report/export

WE would like to build a class report on TnG, we want to have a report that includes attendance, notes per student, grades, etc. And we would to send it to certain people within TnG via email.

I'm suggesting integrating Google Single Sign-On (SSO) into [Your SaaS Product] for smoother access. This would simplify our login process, allowing us to sign in with our Google accounts directly. It'd be a great enhancement for user experience!

If teachers could “request a change of date” for a lesson they can not do and need to reschedule. If teachers could “request a change of date” for a lesson they can not do and need to reschedule. The admin would have to approve this change of date This would help accounting and invoices at the end of the month without changing every lesson at the end of the month, but if the teacher requests to change and it’s been approved it changes and updates simultaneously

In the same way that we can see when emails are succesfully sent. Would we be able to view if parents have opened that mail or not? SO we can easily see which parents we need to resend that email to. THanks!

It would be great is the School inventory could have these two enhancements: When an item is selected and you see the item details, if you could navigate to the next or previous item in the list with easy next/previous arrows. (it would be great if it navigated next and previous based on the search results of the inventory screen and not the whole index of items).To be able to assign inventory items to anyone in the 'People' category, whether it is teachers/ students/ staff. That way we can see what person has what easily (to then be able to search based off of a name would be great.

It would work much better for us if we could have a Title for bookable lessons which is what the parents see but then set separately how the class will be named when it is created..

It would be great as administrators, when helping teachers or students, to be able to see what they seen. It is relatively frequent that we have teacher or students say they can-not see certain things in the system. It would be great if an Administrator account could switch to Teacher A's view and check it for them.

There are a few things as a school whos students are all minors and contact is through their parents (other contacts) which could be improved to help the function for us. Customising the Student profile - allowing schools to remove fields which are not needed At the moment we could have a student with no parents connected (human error) and there for no contact details. Can this been flagged as an error when contact details are missing for an enrolled student. It would be helpful to be able to set a primary contact (from other contacts) and for this to ensure notifications are on and for this information to be viewed from the student account dashboard.
