Feature Ideas

Currently we have the brilliant system of push-notifications for when students are marked as absent, the parents receive a notification on their phone. However, some of our parents don't use the app on their phone and instead need an email to notify them. I would love a preset email to be sent to the students related contact email address when they are marked as absent by a teacher, giving a more solid paper trail of proof that we marked their child as absent and the parent has received it, not only as a notification on their phone.

It will be useful have the ability to merge two students in one, because due to small or medium name differents is easy to create a student twice for example someone called John Smith can also be created as John E. Smith... In Latino America where work is even worse because a person can be Sebastian Romero or Sebastián Romero.

SMS communication is expensive for the students and dated, while WhatsApp is free. Students can authorized channel.

adding a feature to keep track of teachers absence (like illness, holiday etc) . when a selected teacher shows unavailable, the system could list other available teachers.

The ability to build a custom report/export

WE would like to build a class report on TnG, we want to have a report that includes attendance, notes per student, grades, etc. And we would to send it to certain people within TnG via email.

In the same way that we can see when emails are succesfully sent. Would we be able to view if parents have opened that mail or not? SO we can easily see which parents we need to resend that email to. THanks!

Many students have repeatedly reported that "Join Online Lesson" button does not work on a smartphone/tablet when trying to join an online lesson from Teach'n Go website via (any) browser app. Similarly, "Join Online Lesson" button on Teach'nGo app won't often work unless the phone has been tilted to landscape mode (as opposed to portrait more). Please fix this as there are numerous students who find accessing lessons through their smart devices most convenient.

It would be awesome if we can add a general notes section so when you hover over something in the calendar you can preview the notes for info without having to click on it. For example, we have Zoom lessons, Recorded Lessons, and Written Lessons if students are absent. We could add this "note" so we know there is some kind of change and the admin and teachers can see it.

Teacher Communication

Parents are often relactant to use the portal and I often have to book additional lessons for students myself. I find it easier to book a lesson fromthe booking system, so I make myslelf a related contact to all students. It would be great if the admin was automatically a related contact, so as to be able to book a lesson from the booking system.

It would be very helpful if we could filter fees on student profile by settled overdue INVOICED up to date and have the choice of choosing more than one of the above or have the option to exclude any of the above. I often find myself scrolling down rather than filtering because I need to see anything but settled. I understand that we will soon be able to tick on lessons and get the total only for the ones tick which is great news. Will this apply for the portal too? It would be great if parents can see the total by clicking on specific lessons.

It would be wonderful to be able to "Pin" a note or attachment to the top of the page, or to sort notes or attachments based on importance rather than chronologically.

Because I can personalized notes and improve communication between TnG user on my school

I would like to be able to add a class with the 'Recurring Day/Time' set as term time only. I do not want to change the wole school calendar dates to term-time only as we will also offer different classes in the school holidays.
